The opening of personal exhibition of the Artists Union of the Kazakhstan Republic "Favorite city" took place in the Temirtau city Museum , devoted to the 80th anniversary of the Temirtau city on September 12, 2025, .
The presented exhibition is a kind of gift for the anniversary of the city of Temirtau. More than 140 works. Almost all the works were created over the past two years. Each picture is a recognizable place of the artist's hometown, where he spent his childhood, youth, and his formation as a creator. On the canvases we see Temirtau at different times of the year. Here are avenues and architectural objects, monuments and residential buildings, small secluded streets, and the outskirts of the city.
The central place in the exhibition space is given to the work "Self-portrait in the full moon. Bacchanalia of images", which reveals a huge vital philosophical layer of Kuat Askarov's work.
