Elena Maletskaya's solo exhibition "Under the Surface of Silence" was opened at the Temirtau Museum on October 10, 2025.
"Under the Surface of Silence" featured 23 paintings, nearly all of which were completed in the last few years.
The exhibition's main concept is an exploration of the human inner world, its soul, and its emotional and spiritual nature through self-knowledge. It combines two completely different genres: realism and abstraction. Through realism, the artist depicts the material world, while abstraction captures intangible feelings, emotions, and thoughts.
The dominant narrative in Elena's works is the female figure, created using pastels and acrylics, allowing for a variety of artistic techniques.
