Brain Ring "Tauelsizdik-tugyrym!" the Temirtau City Museum launched the intellectual brain ring game "Tauelsizdik-tugyrym!" to celebrate Independence Day of the Kazakhstan Republic and the 103rd anniversary of the founding of Alash Orda on December 2, 2025.
Students from Temirtau Secondary Schools No. 2 and No. 10 were invited to participate in the game. Each team consisted of six players. The game consisted of three rounds. The team that answered the questions first received one point. The number of points earned by each team was displayed on the scoreboard. The team with the most points won the game.
Round 1: "Blitz Poll." Players competed in their knowledge of Kazakhstan's history, as well as the centuries-old traditions and customs of the Kazakh people.
Round 2: "Choose a Cell - Get a Question." Participants answered questions about the legends, culture, and everyday life of the Kazakh people.
Round 3: "Black Box." Exhibits were hidden in a black box. After answering questions, participants revealed the secrets of the black box, and the audience was shown exhibits such as a 1905 3-ruble banknote, a 1913 3-ruble note (in 1913, an annual subscription to the Kazakh newspaper cost 3 rubles), proof-quality coins, whip, and more.
The team from Secondary School No. 2 won the game. The winners received a diploma and a commemorative prize.
