The Temirtau city Museum opened an exhibition "Anthology" by the Karaganda photography club on January 16, 2026.
The "Karaganda" photography club had a long history, but disbanded during the difficult 1990s. The club was reborn in 2019. They are currently actively working, including organizing exhibitions. The first photo show at the Temirtau Museum took place in 2022.
This exhibition is a summary of 2025. The anthology presents selected works. These are images that remain in the memory, not just for display. This is the best of the best: over 150 photographs by 36 authors, with no restrictions on genre or date. Here, classics and experimentation, professionalism and a fresh perspective coexist. You will see the frozen drama of a reportage, the poetry of a portrait, the power of a landscape and the magic of a staged scene.
