Their fingertips glided over the exquisite patterns of camisoles, feeling the softness of felt shapans (coat) and the smoothness of silk embroidery. Every texture is a piece of history, every stitch a symbol of tradition. The guests were able to not only hear legends but literally feel them.
We explained why patterns on clothing are not just decoration but an entire system of encrypted messages, what secrets are hidden in the cut of outfits, and what beliefs are associated with national costumes. This event was a step towards making art, history and traditions accessible to everyone.
