The Temirtau City Museum opened the outdoor photo exhibition "At the Roots of Victory," timed to coincide with Sports Day on August 13 .
The exhibition is dedicated to the people who laid the foundations of Temirtau's sporting glory- the athletes, coaches, and organizers who laid the foundations of the city's sporting traditions. Featured are B. Galiev, V. Tsai, V. Eliseev, A. Kudryavtsev, K. Suinbaev, K. Edgin, N. Kotok, and A. Baranov.
The exhibition is centered on photographs from the museum's collection, capturing highlights of Temirtau city’s sporting life, including competitions, training sessions, and the people devoted to sports.
Athletes' personal belongings, medals, and sports equipment occupied a special place in the exhibition. These items allowed visitors not only to see history in photographs but also to experience it through tangible evidence of their sporting achievements. The opening ceremony was attended by children from Temirtau city's children's clubs. It was an opportunity for the children to learn about their fellow townspeople who have contributed to the development of sports in their hometown and to see the journey from their first training sessions to great achievements.
