The museum has been running an inclusive project "Time and Children" for children with disabilities durig 5 years. Within the framework of this project, specialized programs are being developed for studying the history, culture and traditions of the Kazakh people.
A research event using stock items for children with special needs, "Tactile World", was held at the Temirtau City Museum on February 10, 2025.
This year, the guests were pupils of the KSU "Special Boarding School No. 8 for Children with Special Educational Needs" . For children with various diseases, the boundaries of the museum world were expanded. All exhibits are presented within reach. With the help of tactile touches and interactive moments, the participants of the event studied the pages of the history of the city of Temirtau.
Through museum objects, the participants learned what goods the residents of the Samarkandsky village purchased at the Koyandinskaya Fair.
Exhibits from the 1930-50s told about the construction of industrial facilities in the future Temirtau city.The research program included interactive moments - weaving kamcha and ironing with a ruble.
Teamwork methods were used, where the participants collected a Komsomol member's suitcase for departure to Kazakhstan's Magnitka and settled in the tent city of the first builders.
