The Temirtau City Museum presented the city residents with the air - installation "Impale Memory"as part of the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War.

The installation was installed at the foot of the Monument to the Temirtau city’s soldiers who died during the Great Patriotic War and became the key art object of the ceremonial event.

The installation included two sections. The first is the photo zone "A Look Through Time", in which a photograph recording the hoisting of the red flag over the Reichstag was compiled from 176 photographs of the war years stored in the funds of the Temirtau Museum.

The second section is a symbolic house made of metal structures. The walls of this house are destroyed, only the windows with the windows sealed from the bombing remain. Inside this house are memories of the Great Patriotic War: here is a wooden table with maps of military operations spread out on it - a dugout. Here is a sewing machine on which a quilted jacket is being sewn. Very soon, warm clothes will be sent to the Red Army soldiers, as well as thousands of parcels with mittens, felt boots, stored for the soldiers by those working in the rear.

Here is a broken baby crib, children's sandals floating in a black cloud, women's hats and toys - this is a symbol of ruined destinies, millions who died from hunger, from bombings, destroyed in concentration camps, burned in villages and cities...

The installation "Impale Memory" is intended to cause a strong emotional shock and awareness of the horrors of war.
