The Temirtau City Museum  hosted the presentation of the book "Temirtau city: Through the Decades," published to commemorate the city's 80th anniversary on October 21, 2025.

The book's creation was initiated by Temirtau city’s Akim G.A. Ashimov and was carried out with the active participation of the Akim's office. The working group included historians, local historians, representatives of city institutions, journalists, and photographers.
The book is the first publication to provide a comprehensive account of Temirtau's history from the mid-19th century to the present day, and includes unique documentary evidence and photographs from the collections of the Temirtau Museum, enterprise archives, and local residents.

"Temirtau city: Through the Decades" is exceptional not only for its content. It is the first publication about the city to be made public and will be accessible to all city residents. During the presentation, 100 copies of the book were donated to the funds of city cultural and sports institutions, city schools, libraries, ethno-cultural and public associations, institutions of special and higher education, youth and veterans organizations.
