The Temirtau city’s Museum opened its first exhibition of Aliya Suleimenova's dolls, "Plasticity of Emotions" on March 13, 2026.
Aliya Suleimenova is a lawyer, three-time world champion, Asian and European champion, absolute ITF Taekwondo World Cup winner, International Master of Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan in ITF Taekwondo, and retired lieutenant colonel. She is also a member of the Public Council of Veterans of the Karaganda Region Anti-Corruption Service.
Her creative passion is doll making. She has been doing this for three years. Her collection includes over 70 dolls, each one handmade and one-of-a-kind. She uses baked plastic. All details- costume, setting, and decorations are created and designed by the artist.
Each doll is an image built on the subtle plasticity of gesture, facial expressions, and an expressive gaze, each with its own character and emotions.
Aliya's work has been presented at international competitions and received high praise from the jury:
1st place, International Competition "Golden Time of Talent," UK, 2024
1st prize, International Competition "Beauty of the Costa Bravo," Spain, 2025
1st prize, International Art Competition "International Talent," Kazakhstan, 2026, Committee of the Spanish Festival.
