The Temirtau City Museum hosted an intellectual game in the "Museum Quiz" format titled «Respublika Rukhy», held in celebration of the Kazakhstan Republic Day on October 22, 2026.

The intellectual competition consisted of four rounds. Participants were divided into two teams. One point was awarded for each correct answer, and the team with the highest total score was declared the winner.

The first round, "Unique Places of Our Country," challenged participants to distinguish between images of real landmarks in Kazakhstan and those generated by artificial intelligence. This round tested the players' attentiveness and their knowledge of the nation's natural and cultural heritage.

The second round, "Assemble the Map of Kazakhstan," required participants to answer questions about the various regions of Kazakhstan, gradually piecing together a map of the Republic. This task helped the participants reinforce their knowledge of the geography and regions of their home country.

The third round, "Who Am I?", introduced students to the lives of notable figures through museum artifacts and clues. The items presented included a test pilot’s flight helmet, a model rocket, and a radio—all associated with Kazakhstan’s first cosmonaut, Toktar Aubakirov; a 19th-century map, a travel diary from an expedition to Kashgaria, a wristwatch, and a compass, which shed light on the life and explorations of Shokan Valikhanov; as well as a dombra, a microphone, and other objects linked to the career of the artist Dimash Kudaibergen. Participants had to identify the individual in question.

The fourth round, "The Black Box," served as the most unique challenge: participants had to identify museum objects by touch alone. Inside a special box with openings were a spindle, an asyk (knucklebone), a clock, an arithmometer, and other artifacts. Taking turns, the players identified the objects by relying on their sense of touch and their own general knowledge.

The "Qazaqstan" team, representing General Education School No. 24, emerged victorious in the intellectual game.

The Museum Quiz served as an engaging journey into the history and culture of Kazakhstan, combining educational challenges and team spirit with an introduction to museum collections. The game reminded participants of their nation’s rich heritage and the importance of preserving its core cultural values.
