The Museum Town Festival was held on the square in front of the Temirtau city Museum on June 11, 2025.

This year is an anniversary one. For 20 years, the museum has been implementing the Museum Town project. Every year, for just one day, during the summer holidays, the museum welcomes guests of the Town. It was first held in 2005 - it was called the Picnic of Hope and was timed to coincide with the Day of Combating Drug Abuse and Drug Trafficking. At that time, there were only four creative locations. A year later, it was called the Museum Town. This name appears in the copyright document that the Temirtau Museum received in 2015. Over the course of 20 years, the theme of the festivals has changed, new locations have appeared. About 1.5 thousand people visit the Museum Town annually.

 The target audience is children from school camps, kindergartens, city residents - adults and children who visited 10 creative locations. Where, with the help of museum exhibits and thematic tasks, they were involved in the historical and cultural environment and were able to:

In honor of the anniversary, we named the Museum Town "The best for you" and chose the best interactive locations. Guests will be able to:

  • play museum twister;
  • become heroes of the museum Crocodile;
  • make a cherished wish
  • look into grandma's chest
