The Temirtau city Museum hosted the opening of a solo exhibition by woodcrafter Toleugazy Duysembekov, "Eternal Breath of Tradition" on May 22, 2026.

 Toleugazy Duysembekov is a renowned Temirtau city’s master practitioner of applied arts. He is skilled in carving wood, metal, leather, and bone. Since 2009, he has been a regular participant in exhibitions of applied arts masters in the Karaganda region.

 To date, the artist has created over 150 items made of wood, bone, metal, and leather. However, the exhibition presents only a small selection of his work. Among them are several collections:

  • a collection of wooden tableware – a kumys set, tobacco, astau, and cutting boards;
  • a collection of musical instruments – dombra, tuyak, sazsyrnai, dauylpaz, and tambourines;
  • A furniture collection-stools, an armchair;
  • a souvenir collection.

One section of the exhibition showcased the artist's grandfather's tools, which he uses to create decorative and applied art objects.
