The Temirtau City Museum held an intellectual quiz "Truth and Fiction" to celebrate the National Symbols of the Kazakhstan Republic on June 4, 2026.

There are various theories, even fiction, about the creation of the Flag, Coat of Arms, and Anthem of the Kazakhstan Republic. Museum staff decided to sort out the truth and fiction by presenting documentary chronicles and photo chronicles of those years, revealing the history of the creation of the national symbols, to visitors.

The quiz featured 8th-grade students from Temirtau city’s Secondary School No. 10. They learned the rules for displaying the Flag and Coat of Arms according to the standard, performed the National Anthem of the Kazakhstan Republic, and uncovered the secret of the "black box" containing a proof-quality 925 sterling silver coin.
