The Temirtau city’s  Museum hosted the opening of a personal exhibition  "Thoughts on Paper and Canvas"  by Yuri Piltikhin on October 9, 2026,
Yuri Vasilyevich is a well-known artist in Temirtau city. He has led the city’s "T-Art" artists' club for over 20 years, serving as its chairman since its inception.
The exhibition features 36 works created over the past three years, encompassing paintings, graphic art, pastels, and papier-mâché pieces. As a versatile artist, he works with a wide range of media—including oils, pastels, acrylics, gouache, pencil, fine-liners, and watercolors—resulting in a diverse array of techniques.
One section of the exhibition displays a six-meter-long collage composed of rough drafts, preliminary studies, and sketches. This "behind-the-scenes" display offers a visual insight into the initial stages of the creative process.
